Welcome to Briarwood Golf Club in Beautiful Broadview Heights Ohio
Last week I wrote about Doc's Bar and Grille in Broadview Heights Ohio,
a great little place to hang out with friends or try your hand (or
voice) at some karaoke. When I stopped in at Doc's to take some
pictures, I ran into my friends Tim and Terese and, of course, we
started chatting.
They told me of the wonderful experience they had just had with John Knezevich, the owner of Briarwood Golf Club.They
called John about having their son's First Communion party at
Briarwood. They went on and on about how thrilled they were when John
actually answered his phone, and how accommodating he was to their
needs. They mentioned that he would allow them to bring in a cake,
unlike so many other places they had called, who were very rigid in
their rules.
So I met with John this morning and found him to be
a very welcoming, down-to-earth person who, if I had to guess, believes
in the golden rule. John wants to make the occasion a wonderful one for
both the hosts and the guests. He has made some beautiful renovations
to Briarwood as seen by the pictures below.
In
addition, Briarwood is open year round, and although it was 18 degrees
when I met with John today, last week he had a few golfers when the
temps reached 50 degrees!
All John's events are catered by Bucci's so
you are sure to have a fabulous meal. His beautiful party room is
available for whatever the occasion..birthday, Communion, Confirmation
parties or baby and wedding showers.
And beginning Feb 27th and
through April 3rd, Briarwood will have their Friday Fish Frys and
here's what you can expect on the buffet table for only $15.00 for
adults and $8.00 for children under 10. It also includes a non
alcoholic beverage, tax, and gratuity. Do call for reservations.

About once per month John has a special event
such as steak night,wine tasting, crab fest or something special for
Halloween and other holidays. And every Thursday, beginning with the
last Thursday in May through labor Day, you can enjoy John's patio parties with live entertainment from 5 till midnight. All open to the public.
