Brecksville Ohio Community Center Hosts Internet Safety Presentation
A little while back I wrote a post about teenagers and their cell phones, and how it is a
federal offense for kids under the age of 18 to take nude or partial
nude photos and then forward them to their friend's cell phones. The
legal ramifications are frightening.
As important, if not more so, is Internet Safety for Our Kids.
In a matter of a few exchanged e-mails or conversations over the
internet, your teen and yes, even your pre-teen can be having a
conversation with a cyber stalker, who can easily turn into a real life
stalker or pedophile, with only one goal in mind.
To aid the public in this ongoing and growing epidemic, the Brecksville, Ohio Community Center will be hosting:
Internet Safety Presentation

Internet Crimes Against Children
Task Force
Monday, January 26th, 2009
from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Parents will learn:
- How to keep children safe online
- The dangers of sexual offenders contacting children
Children will learn:
- What to do if a stranger talks to them online
